• Medical Assistant – We are seeking a mature, intelligent, reliable, and compassionate medical assistant for a private family practice. Practice includes one physician and 2 medical assistants. Adult/pediatric experience preferred. Perform phlebotomy and injections. Supportive, drama-free work environment :)

Primary job duties:

Share administrative and clinical duties with another medical assistant. Work with Athena medical software.

Administrative duties - Create a welcoming environment for our patients, check them in as they arrive, verify insurance, check claims, schedule appointments, order office supplies.

Clinical duties - use clinical judgement, triage phone calls, obtain vital signs, administer therapeutic injections and vaccines, assist with minor office procedures, perform phlebotomy, EKG, spirometry, order medical supplies.

Requirements:

2 years of experience working in a medical practice

Experience with phlebotomy, therapeutic injections, and vaccines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
